Meet the Bruske Baumgardner Team — Principal Luxury Real Estate Advisors at Compass and the driving force behind The Bruske Team. Formed by former Major League Baseball pitcher Jim Bruske and veteran broker Gretchen Baumgardner, the team leads one of Arizona's most distinguished luxury real estate groups.
Jim began his real estate career in 2001 after moving to Arizona. Drawing on the drive, focus, and collaboration he honed during his professional baseball career—which included pitching for the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and the 1998 World Series Champion New York Yankees—Jim has successfully closed hundreds of residential transactions. He remains actively involved as a volunteer coach with the Major League Alumni and as a leader in the local community.
Gretchen, an Arizona native with over 23 years of real estate expertise, brings a unique perspective to Arcadia, Paradise Valley, and Scottsdale. She holds a Master's degree in Art History and has a rich background in fine art consulting and new home sales. Her deep understanding of design, architecture, and construction allows her to offer unparalleled guidance on luxury estates.
